Beth Le Manach: “I think especially for a platform like YouTube, you really need a human that the users can actually connect with. I think there was maybe a short time when on Facebook you could get away with sort of hands, voiceover, quick snappy videos, and it didn’t really matter. You might even be able to get away with just images and music. But I think at, at a time, all of that content started looking the same. I think when you bring a host in that’s your best competitive edge because no two people are alike. No two hosts are alike and that’s going to really set you apart from other people that are doing the same thing.”
